Responsible Person: If your friend were to jump off a cliff would you?
Me: That depends, is there water at the bottom?
Responsible Person: Doesn't matter, answer the question.
Me: Yes, because if there was water we would be cliff diving and I have always wanted to do that and I would not let my friend have all the fun without me.
Responsible Person: I changed my mind. No water.
Me: Too late for that, we already jumped.
Responsible Person: But there is no water!
Me: ...Ouch!
